We went on a tour of France by car in August, so my favorites will be more about what we visited during our vacation. The caves : I really liked the replicas of caves, like Chauvet 2 and Lascaux IV. I had a big crush on the Villars cave. Rivers: I don’t really like to swim at the beach because of the sand and salt water, that’s why I really enjoyed spending time in the Gorges de l’Ardèche and in the Dordogne, where you can swim in fresh water and find places without sand.
