Itinerary

To buy the round-the-world ticket, whether in an agency or online, you already need an idea of the departure dates. I have created the file below with low/high spending ranges, temperatures and visa information.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of things we are bringing (the final list will be updated by August). This allows us to know in advance the weight of the bag of each one and possibly to print it to check before the departure that we have everything.

DURING THE WORLD TOUR

Budget tracking

This file allows us to know where we are, and to point out all the expenses to see if an expense was taken from our cards, if the amount paid in cash corresponds to what we withdrew etc. It also allows us to quickly update the “Budget” section of our travel journal items.

Where we are

It is a tracking file for us but also for our family, which we share privately with them on Drive. Every day we mark “OK” in the Status column. So if something happens to us (but I touch wood), our family will know exactly where we were.
