Digital Nomad: our 2nd Airbnb in Rome (Italy) #8

An ultra fast post to show you our 2nd airbnb in Rome.
We were in the Trastevere district in September, but we moved to the Piazza di Spagna side to be more central. In Rome, the public transport services are more and more limited, we easily wait 20 minutes to take the bus, so it’s good to have an apartment close to everything. All the services I regularly use are between 5 minutes and 15 minutes on foot. What a relief!

We paid 35€/night for this apartment, it’s a ridiculously low price, which we could never have had without the Covid (you will find all the links to our Airbnb & rates here)

The major drawbacks :

  • waste management in the hyper-center of Rome: catastrophic! one is obliged to throw the dustbins in secret in the middle of the night, beside the public dustbins, because the giant skips are non-existent in this zone
  • we are surrounded by luxury boutiques, JB isn’t happy at all because I am often fooled by pretty windows ahaha
  • we are surrounded by restaurants for tourists, so expensive and not good

JB had to develop a small program to find us small local restaurants. Anyway, all the restaurants we like and recommend are regularly updated and available on our personalized Google Maps here. Kisses!
