Visit of the Delvaux store in Paris
After visiting the Moynat workshops, we are walking down the street when we pass by the Delvaux boutique. It’s a brand I’ve been following on Instagram for several months, so I’m pleased to see the bags in person.
We are very, very well received. The store is almost empty, so we can ask as many questions as we want to our salesperson. He is extremely passionate, and very proud to have visited the Delvaux workshops in Belgium (of which he showed us photos). When he saw that I knew about leather, he was able to give me even more details about the exotic leathers in the store. In short, a lovely person!
Delvaux now belongs to the Richemont group (which also owns Cartier, among others). It is the official supplier to the Belgian crown.
You just have to see how they work with exotic leathers (ostrich, alligator) to notice that they have technical know-how. Unfortunately, the models are too classic for me, even though I love the feel of their leathers.

The marketing message for this bag was: “it took us xxx pieces of leather”, that might work for people who don’t know much about it, but for connoisseurs, it’s not impressive enough.

For any purchase, the addition of initials (in foil) is free. The initials are accompanied by a small crown to reference the brand’s history (it’s cute). I find this personalization super nice, especially since it doesn’t cost the brand much, others should take inspiration from it!

In any case, I really liked the welcome, the store, and the window displays.
