Where to get a PCR test in Paris? Results within 24h & Open on holidays

Recently, we had to get our PCR tests on a holiday, with the urgent need to have the results in time for our trip to Thailand.

I searched everywhere on Doctolib and all the labs were closed. But I found several addresses in Paris open on holidays with quick results:

  • Laboratoires XV: open Monday to Saturday (mornings). Including holidays (mornings only)
    • As for us, we went to laboratoire Mozart in the 16th arrondissement because it’s better rated (not to be confused with Vaugirard, where it’s very poorly rated). You can book an appointment online here. They promise results before 9pm (same day) if the test is done before 2pm.
    • We didn’t pay anything because everything was covered by social security (bring your carte vitale)
    • results sent by SMS around 8pm with a link to download the results in PDF & QRCode to add the results to the “Tous anti Covid” app
  • Airport testing centers, open every day, for those with a valid plane ticket:
    • at Orly: Book an appointment on Doctolib : Orly 4 – Door 42D – Level -1 welcomes passengers departing in more than 24 hours. You can go there even if your flight leaves from Charles de Gaulle. Since Orly is closer to Paris… results are obtained in 6 hours.
    • From March 25, 2021, a 2nd center opens at Orly 3: Door 34A, dedicated to travelers departing the same day (rapid PCR). Results in 30 minutes, but the number of spots is very limited so don’t leave it to the last minute
    • at Charles de Gaulle: Book an appointment on Doctolib Terminal 2E – Departure area – Opposite door 16d

That’s it, I hope this helps. Take care!
