Rosalie: 2009 – 2022

Rosalie, my love, has just passed away.

Thank you, my baby, for coming into our lives.

For all the love you brought us, for all those moments of tenderness, purrs, laughter, fights with dad for some white sauce, or little thefts of carpaccio from my plate.

I remember and will remember all those little moments that define your character.

Like the time you rushed to join me running up the stairs in Bourville, just to be with me, while you were sleeping peacefully on the ground floor. You were a bit ashamed of that display of love but you know, it remains the best memory I have of us, and I replay that moment over and over, every time I think of you.

Your intelligence, your ability to clearly communicate your demands and requirements surprised me many times, and until the very last moments, you were able not only to communicate them to me in advance but also to arrange things so that everything went as smoothly as possible.

You will always remain in our hearts.

You were demanding and you pushed us to go further. You were generous, with all those foster cats. You were sensitive, curious, a bit flashy and a bit obsessive with those hair ties you lost by the dozen.

There will be a big void after your departure but I know another chapter awaits you.

Rest in peace my love, my baby. Thank you again 🥰🥰
