Search for a good cheap hotel with Booking, Agoda, Hotels.com and Tripadvisor
In this video, I present you our approach to find good hotels at the best price. I start my search by Booking which is probably the hotel reservation site offering the most choices all over the world. I check that the selected hotel is well rated on Tripadvisor I make sure there are no bed bugs (type the name of the hotel + bed bugs on Google) I see if the price is more interesting on Agoda, it is regularly the case for hotels in Asia Finally, I look at the price on Hotels.com . Thanks to the fidelity program, you get back the equivalent of 10% of the price…

Staying in Canada: Do you need a Visa or an ETA?
If you plan to stay in Canada for less than 6 months, good news, you don’t need a visa! If you arrive in Canada by car, train, bus or boat, you don’t need anything, except your passport of course. If you arrive by plane, you will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before your arrival. The procedure is very simple and is done online. The most “critical” point is to make the request on the official website. As for many other countries, there are “fake sites” that will charge you a much higher amount than the official site. Here is some information to know about the AVE procedure.…

Cosmetics to buy in Canada and where to buy
Today, I bring you to discover some of the top Canadian (or non-Canadian) cosmetic brands to bring back on your trip from Canada. Some natural products were recommended to me by Karen, who has been living in Quebec for several years (thank you very much) This list will certainly evolve, so a tip to choose THE product to buy is to look for the “look” logo in the stores. If they are on the “allure awards” list, you can buy them with your eyes closed. You will see that in this list, there are a lot of skin care products (more than make-up) because skin care products in America are,…

How to save for Retirement as a French Digital Nomad?
Some people think that digital nomads lead a bohemian life. While we are slowly approaching our forties, we are thinking a little about what we will earn in retirement to ensure our old age. We carry out several actions in parallel to prepare all this knowing that we have the following constraints Disclaimer, I am neither a financial expert nor a wealth advisor, this article only presents what we undertake but I do not pretend to think that it…

What clothes and equipment for a Road trip in Iceland in Winter ?
Today I will list all the things we took with us on our trip to Iceland in April 2019. This post is NOT sponsored Weather in Iceland in April I remind the weather conditions for those who do not know this country yet: in April, it is between 1°C and 8°C and we are often confronted with snow (rarer), rain (often) and wind (up to 50km/h). Being rather well equipped thanks to the varied temperatures during our world tour, we still had to buy some extra gear to face the rain, humidity and Icelandic wind. Why not buy on the spot? You will see, on the spot, the prices will…

Travel Hacking: Is it possible in France ?
As a “permanent traveler”, I am fascinated by the “travel hackers” in North America who enjoy flights and hotel nights almost for free thanks to the points they have accumulated For the most part, these points are accumulated via their credit cards. Broadly speaking, banks in North America offer very generous benefits when using their credit cards. The more a person consumes, the more points he or she accumulates that can be turned into benefits The use of these credit cards is dangerous because one can very quickly find oneself in an infernal circle and have large sums of money to repay with very high interest rates On the other…
