How to return or replace your reMarkable?
While scrolling through Facebook, I came across a post from a man who was very unhappy with his reMarkable Paper Pro. He had just bought a Paper Pro for his wife, and the screen was all yellow compared to his.

I looked at mine and thought, “Oh yeah, mine is yellow too,” and for a while now, there’s been more and more ghosting. I’m filled with doubt, I take several photos and contact reMarkable support via chat. They tell me to do a hard reset, which I did, but the screen is still a bit yellow. I send the photos. I ask them if they don’t think my screen is a bit yellow. After sending the photos, they confirm that a swap would be better.
They tell me to create an account on returns.remarkable.com using the email used to purchase the device and to quote the chat number xxxxxxx where they validated the return. When I logged in, I saw all the devices I’ve purchased, and I can select which one I want to return for a replacement. I chose to return only the Paper Pro since I’m very happy with the Marker Plus. It was purchased in April 2025, but according to the site, it’s still under warranty.

You also need to choose the return reason; I picked any, uploaded the photos, entered the chat number, and re-explained the issue in the designated box. The next day, I receive an email confirming the return is approved and that I need to go to returns.remarkable.com to generate a return label.
I do all that. I reset the device to wipe my personal data. All documents are already synced to the cloud. A DHL label is sent to me for free by email, and I can schedule a DHL pickup. The next day, the package is already in DHL’s hands. The return address is in the Netherlands; I think they must have a warehouse there to facilitate shipping to EU countries.
You can track the return and replacement on returns.remarkable.com

Two days later, I already receive my replacement. Unfortunately, the screen seems a bit too yellow again, so I sent it back. I contacted customer service via chat again, and 3 days later, I receive another device, and this time, it’s good! On returns.remarkable.com, I have access to this new device and can request another replacement in the future if there’s ever an issue, which is really well done.

Anyway, for now I’m very satisfied with the customer service and the process. My explanations are perhaps long, but everything is communicated and explained via chat or email; it’s almost as smooth as at Amazon.
