Stopover in Paris (France)
That’s it, we are back in Paris, after our long stay in Haute-Normandie with our cat Rosalie. Even if we love our cat very much, our return to France wasn’t only to bring her on vacation, our passports being archi-full, we planned to stay there for a month (we planned wide) in order to redo them and apply for a Frequent Traveler Passport (more info here), and do a health check-up before flying to America, where our social security is useless 😀 Between Haute-Normandie and Iceland, there is an essential stopover: Paris. Today, I’m taking you on a little tour of Upper Normandy. There will be no visit of landing beaches, bunkers etc. because we visited all that on another weekend a few years ago. JB would have liked to go back there but it’s still a 2 hour drive from our town. Part 1: Travel Diary Rouen Rouen is only an hour’s drive from us. This is the 2nd time I visit Rouen. Our stay in Bourville in Haute-Normandie (France) – part 1/2
After the cat’s vacation in Trans-sur-Erdre (travel diary here), we are back in France for a month, in Haute-Normandie this time. The cat, Rosalie, is still with us! Why France? We have to redo our passports (which are very full) so we plan to spend a month in France, the time to redo them, do a health check-up with our favorite doctors – before flying to Canada, the US etc.. Why Haute-Normandie? Because renting a temporary apartment in Paris is much too expensive, and nobody accepts animals.
