The Best Facials & Spas in Paris [2025]

When I had a permanent job in Paris, I was so stressed and tired on weekends that I had to get a massage/pampering every week to relax a bit. And despite myself, I got to try quite a few spas and beauty institutes, plus the gifts people gave me, knowing my habit.

I’m going to give you my non-exhaustive list of spas I really loved.

Véronique Meissonnier

I opted for the bespoke facial at Véronique Meissonier. A massage therapist and physiotherapist by training, she’s part of the French Facialists Club. She was trained by the master of Kobido (an ancient Japanese massage technique).

Her one-hour bespoke facial is divine! She uses all the techniques (Kobido, Face Sculpting, Gua-Sha) tailored to your face’s needs. She was trained by the master of Kobido (you can see her diploma proudly displayed in her office). You can check her rates (between €120 and €140) and book an appointment here.

I highly recommend the bespoke treatment. Indeed, it allows her to focus on areas that really need more attention. In my case, it was around the jaw because I have bruxism. I need a lift, and after just one hour of intensive massage, everything seems lifted: eyelids, and the oval of the face better defined.

For those with more wrinkles, the facelift (using the Russian osteo technique) will be even more radical but less pleasant. The must of this massage: an intraoral massage yes, yes, done with gloves of course, (Meghan Markle is said to have been a fan of this type of massage), stimulating all the facial muscles and making them work a bit.

The treatment room is small, there’s no waiting room, but that’s not a problem given the results you get after. In 1 hour of massage, there’s maybe 5 minutes of cleansing and cream application, the rest is 100% massage. After the treatment, my skin is super radiant, and dark spots fade much faster. As for wrinkles (nasolabial folds, the area she focused on a lot because they’re the only wrinkles I have), you can barely see them for two weeks.

Baan Siam Institute

The Thai massage here is divine! It’s a great find generously shared by my Korean friend M.

Go for the 1.5-hour mixed massage: half Thai/reflexology, half Californian, with oil. I feel like I’m floating on a cloud when I leave. I go every time I’m back in Paris.

Lanqi Spa

There are several locations in Paris, but I only go to the one in the 7th arrondissement. I really like the 1.5-hour traditional Chinese massage. It’s a firm massage but not painful. On the contrary, the masseuses quickly identify tension areas and relieve them promptly.

Leaving the institute, I feel like I’m floating on a cloud. The masseuses are all competent. You can ask for special attention to a particular body part.

At Little Saigon Paris

Usually, I’m terrified they’ll cut the cuticles during a pedicure or manicure, but not here. It’s done with such gentleness and hygiene that it’s a treat I indulge in from time to time. The prices are very reasonable; I think it’s €45 for pedi + mani + regular polish. And no need to book in advance. The pedicure chair is massaging too. Enjoy!

Suisen

You feel like you’re in Japan, in a ryokan, as soon as you step through the doors of this salon. Here, you should opt for the facial massage using ancient Japanese techniques. The construction materials come from Japan, and everything is designed to make you feel transported, even though you’re in the Marais in Paris. The Youth Facial Treatment (€115 for 1 hour) is pure magic. It’s a change from facials where you spend more time waiting for a mask – which you could do at home – than being massaged. Here, apart from a thorough facial cleanse, the rest is all massage: the face but also the neck, shoulders, arms, and hands to release all tension and promote good lymphatic circulation. The setting is very luxurious yet traditional – booking is done only by phone. The person never answers, so you have to leave a message and get called back. Appointments are still noted the old-fashioned way in a paper calendar. The teas and macarons served are organic and delicious.

Asia Zen – 81 rue Truffaut 75017

This is where I spent all my Sundays. First, it’s one of the few open on Sundays. Second, it’s one of the few that accepts last-minute bookings on a Sunday ^_^

The quality depends on the masseuse, and they often change aestheticians. But when you manage to find the masseuse that suits you, it’s great! It’s a bit noisy because the nail salon is right next to the massage rooms, but you’ll forget that detail because the price is very reasonable.

Spa Nuxe Montorgueil

I went to the Spa Nuxe on rue Montorgueil twice. Thanks to gifts from my colleagues (going-away gifts). Thank you to them! The experience is luxurious, the treatment room is luxurious. From memory, the bed is self-heating too.

Each time, my former colleagues gave me a body treatment + a facial, and after 2 hours of treatment, I find myself between dream and wakefulness – a sign that I’m 100% relaxed.

What I like about this spa is that they don’t push you to buy; on the contrary, they shower me with samples. The prices are too high for products sold at the pharmacy; I recommend this spa only if you’re looking for a gift idea for someone.

Spa Caudalie – rue des Abbesses

I’ve only been once, for a glow treatment, and my skin was truly radiant at the end of it (I was so surprised). The service is pleasant, the treatment room luxurious, and there’s no sales pitch at the end. However, it bothers me to pay a lot for using exactly the same products I can buy at the pharmacy, but I think the value for money is excellent.

Maison du Dr hauschka

I’ve talked in detail about this experience here. I find it effective and pleasant (holistic approach, the facial starts with a warm bath… of the feet).

I think it’s a good treatment to gift for fans of natural products (as it will please everyone and the setting is luxurious). But the value for money will be better in other clinics. If you absolutely want a Hauschka treatment, you can go to one of the many institutes trained in Hauschka products, the price will be cheaper than at the Maison du Dr. Hauschka.

The institutes I haven’t tested

• Clarins spas: apparently they have lymphatic massage techniques unique to the brand. Clarins even has a spa at Printemps Paris!
• Tata Harper at Bristol: one day, I’ll be so rich that I’ll go. In the meantime, I dream about it hahaha 🙂 apparently it’s not just for the quality of the products (natural), but mainly for the divine massage (so far I’ve only tried their cupping treatment in Montreal and I loved it sooo much)
• the spa at the George V hotel: I don’t know when I’ll be able to afford a treatment in that hotel, I hope that day comes…
