Test & Reviews of Lebara: Prepaid SIM card for France and Europe
Back in France for one month (a month that will turn into several because of the Coronavirus), I do a little research to find the best solution to get a prepaid SIM card to be able to phone and use the internet After studying several solutions, the solution with the best value for money seems to me Lebara. In my mind, Lebara was a solution to be able to call to foreign countries at an affordable rate. This is still the case, but they now offer classic phone packages. How to get a Lebara SIM card? Having anticipated a little bit my need, I ordered a SIM card directly on…

Viva Aerobus: boarding pass, tax for non-residents
When we booked our flight from Mexico City to Las Vegas via the airline Viva Aerobus, there were two pieces of information that were a little anxious. A tax for non-residents A message indicated that non-residents would have to pay a tax at the counter. I couldn’t find any information on the amount of this tax. In the end, we had nothing to pay on our international flight. I don’t know what the situation is regarding domestic flights. The boarding pass When you try to do the checkin online, it is clearly indicated that you must absolutely have your boarding pass (having printed or downloaded it) otherwise you will have…

When traveling by air, one generally tries to find the cheapest flights possible. We’ve given you some tips on how to pay less by booking a round-trip instead of a one-way ticket or by paying in local currency. Test & Reviews of the Nintendo Switch JAVONTEC Dock
As a digital nomad, I’m always traveling with my life in a suitcase. The discovery of the Nintendo Switch allowed me to own a game console again. There was only one problem: the original dock for connecting the console to a TV was far too bulky to carry it everywhere with me. I found a perfect alternative, the JAVONTEC dock purchased from Amazon. It weighs 80 grams, 5 times less than the original dock It is tiny and fits easily in a carrying case for Nintendo Switch. It has a USB 3.0 port to charge a device. Bonus: it is compatible with a Mac if you need to recharge it…

[Test & Advice] Using hypnosis to treat bruxism (teeth grinding) & other traumas
I feel very lucky because every time I need something, chance/universe gives me the solution. In this case, just when I needed it, I was not only given the coordinates of the best dentist in Montreal, but was also told about a method to cure bruxism: hypnosis. The origin of bruxism Bruxism = grinding your teeth at night. It is said that the noise is quite characteristic and horrible. This can be noticed if you share a bed with someone who is slightly sensitive to noise, or by taking an x-ray at the dentist. Unfortunately, French dentists do not check this point systematically, so if you have any doubt, ask…

For more information about using the Free Mobile plan abroad, please click here. Travelling in Canada for 3 months, we started using our Free SIM card. Small disappointment, there seems to be no 4G agreements, we have to make do with 3G+. The roaming goes through the Rogers operator. The speed is correct, nothing more. Test performed in Toronto on April 22nd, 2019 Test performed in Montreal on April 28, 2019. Test performed on May 12,…

SIM Card Free Mobile in Iceland: 3G or 4G? Internet speed ?
For more information about using the Free Mobile plan abroad, please click here. On a road trip in Iceland, I use my Free Mobile SIM card. The roaming passes by the operator Nova. I am pleasantly surprised by the network coverage. The population density is very low in Iceland that I expected to be often without network. That indeed happens when we are in the middle of nowhere but on short periods. From a speed viewpoint, we are on 4G+ with a very good download speed and a very correct upload speed (see screenshot). The speed test below dates from April 8, 2019, test realized in a place in the…
